Is Your Website Really Working If You Can’t Update It?

Let me know if this sounds familiar....

You had an amazing website built when you launched your business. You were excited about it. It felt like a huge step forward.

And then....

You needed to make an update, maybe something small. But when you logged in to your dashboard, it felt like a foreign language. You couldn't remember where everything was located, or the steps to follow to update. It was overwhelming, and you were afraid you would mess something up. So you told yourself you'd come back to it later.

That was a while ago.

I hear this all the time from business owners. It has nothing to do with being tech-savvy or caring about your website. It's that most websites are built on the assumption that someone technical will maintain them. But in reality, it's you. Or someone on your team. Someone who is already juggling a hundred other things.

A website handoff should leave you feeling capable, not confused. When I finish a project, I want my clients to know exactly where to go to make changes, feel confident doing it, and not white-knuckle every click. The day-to-day stuff should feel manageable.

And when something more complex comes up (or you just don't have the bandwidth), I'm here for that too.

You don't have to keep avoiding your own website. Give me a call, and I can help you figure out what makes sense.

Is your website confusing you?
