The Challenge
Jerad Romero is a talented guitarist with years of experience performing at weddings, private events, corporate functions, and venues throughout Richmond. Like many musicians, he got most of his bookings through word-of-mouth referrals and personal connections.
While his reputation was strong, his online presence didn’t reflect the quality of his work or make it easy for potential clients to find him, learn about his services, and book with confidence.
He needed a professional brand and marketing foundation that would position him as a trusted event professional.
The Approach
Rather than simply building a website, we started by defining the experience Jerad wanted prospective clients to have from the moment they discovered him online.
The goal was to create a digital presence that felt like Jerad himself: approachable, professional, experienced, and easy to work with.
To bring that vision to life, I developed a marketing framework to support both discovery and conversion, including a new website, search engine optimization, business listings, social media strategy, and supporting content.
Website Design & Launch
The new website was structured around the questions couples and event planners ask most often:
* What types of events does Jerad perform?
* What does the booking process look like?
* What songs can he play?
* How does live music fit into a wedding day timeline?
* What packages are available?
* What have past clients said about working with him?
Dedicated pages were created for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and venue partnerships, helping visitors quickly find the information most relevant to their needs.
To build trust and credibility, the site also incorporates performance videos, testimonials, sample playlists, planning resources, and clear calls to action throughout the customer journey.
Beyond the website, I established and optimized his Google Business Profile, created profiles on major wedding platforms including WeddingWire and The Knot, organized his service offerings, and developed a content strategy to help him consistently showcase his work.
YouTube Channel Optimization
Jerad already had an extensive library of performance videos, but the content lacked a consistent presentation and organizational structure.
To create a more professional view, I developed a custom-branded video template and refreshed his existing video library to align with his new visual identity. This provided a consistent look and feel across the channel while reinforcing brand recognition.
Videos were also organized into curated playlists based on event type, allowing prospective clients to quickly explore content relevant to weddings, cocktail hours, private parties, corporate events, and venue performances.

Social Media Content Strategy
To support long-term growth, I developed both the strategy and creative content needed to maintain an active social presence. This includes design and development of branded post templates, video concepts, testimonial graphics, educational content, and recurring content themes designed to showcase Jerad's work and build trust with prospective clients.
Creating a Consistent Client Experience
One of the project's primary goals was to ensure that every interaction with the Jerad Romero brand felt cohesive and professional.
Whether a potential client discovers him through Google, WeddingWire, YouTube, social media, or a referral, they now encounter a consistent brand experience that reflects the quality of his performances and the professionalism he brings to every event.
The Results
Jerad now has a professional online presence that supports his business long after a performance ends.
Potential clients can discover him through search engines, wedding directories, social media, and Google Business, then seamlessly learn about his services, explore his music, and submit an inquiry.
Most importantly, his digital presence now reflects the quality, professionalism, and personal attention that clients experience when working with him.
